Our Past in Jamaica by Tony Ann

For this sound project, I recorded the emotional story of a girl moving from her home country to the United States and what challenges she faced as an immigrant entering a strange, new place for the first time.

Below are video clips from popular movie trailers that I edited by mixing sound effects, voice overs, and music that were not in the original clip

Oz: The Great & Powerful Movie Trailer

For this sound project, I replaced all of the sound effects, voices, and music from the original movie trailer clip. I had voice actors record different lines from the original movie trailer’s script. I replaced different sound effects from the movie trailer with public domain sounds and sounds that I recorded myself through Foley-work. For the music I mixed together various portions of the song “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” by singer and artist J2.

Spider-Man “Be Greater” Extended PS4 Game Trailer

For this audio project, I replaced all of the audio from the original video clip. I added and/or replaced specific sound effects with Foley sound effects that I recorded. In addition, I had several voice actors record voice-over lines from a script as well as background noises that can be heard in the video. For the background music in this video clip, I mixed various portions of the Spider-Man Homecoming Main Theme to heighten the action and excitement of the game trailer.

Monster’s Inc Movie Clip

For this sound project, I replaced all of the audio from the original video clip. I replaced specific sound effects with Foley sound effects that I recorded myself. For the growling sound effects and Mike’s talking I used Adobe Audition CC to remix my own voice and Foley effects to create the audio effects of movement up, down, and around the room with Sully and Mike.

Wonder Woman Movie Trailer

For this project, I replaced most of the audio from the original video clip. I added and/or replaced specific sound effects with Foley sound effects that I recorded. For the music I mixed together two versions of the song “To Be Human” by the artist Sia. I started the video with the instrumental version of this song and at the height of action in this clip, I introduced Sia’s singing to the background music.
